Can you say ROCK STAR???

Trevor got one of his birthday presents early! We let him open the Guitar Hero III video game last night and he has had a blast all day long jamming to great rock'n roll songs! The whole family has been enjoying the game! Let's just say the house has been rockin' out! Shane figured out how to play rather quickly, the rest of us are a bit slower... But, wow is it fun! Trevor will be 9 years old on Saturday, November 17th. I really can't get over how fast time flies.

Trevor at 8 weeks old...

I remember when he first arrived in our family just like it was yesterday... He weighed 4 lbs. 9 oz and was 17 inches long. In nine years he has grown to weigh 54 lbs and is 531/2 inches tall. He is soooooooo close to being able to ride all the rides at Six Flags that he can taste it! He is going to have his party there in a couple of weeks and is hoping to grow enough to reach the 54 inch height requirement between now and then! LOL!!!!! He's bringing 3 of his friends with him and we will be able to enjoy "Holiday in the Park". Let's just hope the weather is nice otherwise we'll have to go on a different day if it's not... Trevor got to pick out a new bike for his birthday today! (Yes, that makes two of his presents early... He knew that Brandon got a new bike for his birthday and that he needed a new one, so it wasn't a surprise anyway...) The boys spent a little bit of time out enjoying the beautiful weather we had!

Trevor will get the rest of his presents next Saturday when we have a family party for him. Both sets of grandparents will be there as well as his aunt, uncle and cousin! We are looking forward to having everyone here!

Halloween 2007

For halloween we went to a neighbor's house and enjoyed chili, hot dogs, munchies and delicious deserts!
Trevor was a Ninja...

Brandon was Darth Vader...

The kids ran around and waited for it to get dark enough to go trick or treating. But with daylight savings time still in place they had to wait longer than in years past. They did their best to be patient, but the call of the candy was too great... We finally gave in and headed out while it was still light. Finally it got dark! We ran into a friend that gave the boys light up necklaces. It made them easy to spot with all the kids running around in the darkness!

We ended up with more candy than we will eat in this lifetime (at least I hope)! :-)
